Do not Fear

Isaiah 41:10 ESV

fear not, for I am with you;

be not dismayed, for I am your God;

I will strengthen you, I will help you,

I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

When I think about what this really means it gives me great strength to keep going in spite of my desire to feel overwhelmed and quit. It is easy to give in to desperation. The decay and stench of evil tries to  permeate our lives. But God has promised to uphold me, to help me, to strengthen me even though I do not deserve any of those things. So with that in mind I through caution to the wind and begin this blog. Who knows where it will take me? He knows, and that is good enough for me.
