The second set of paintings was started soon after we returned from Florida in July 2014. It was exciting to have a clear directive for a painting while also having plenty of artistic and creative license in creating it. My aunt and I measured the size of the area she wanted to cover. I took pictures of her condo to make sure I remembered the colors. And I was off!
